PM85046: ERRORS IN ESTAE SETUP PROCESSING FOR SDUMP CAN PREVENT ABEND DUMPS

Error description

• This APAR addresses errors that can occur in ESTAE setup
  processing for SDUMP and prevent a dump from being generated for
  an ABEND in the following situations:
  1. S0C4 ABEND in module CQM#CQMA's ESTAE exit during setup
  processing for SDUMP.
  
  2. S0C1 ABEND in module CQM#DRVX in an ESTAEX retry exit.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR addresses errors that can
                         occur in ESTAE setup processing for
                         SDUMP and prevent a dump from being
                         generated for an ABEND in the
                         following situations:
                         1. S0C4 ABEND in module CQM#CQMA's
                         ESTAE exit during setup processing for
                         SDUMP.
                         2. S0C1 ABEND in module CQM#DRVX in an
                         ESTAEX retry exit.
  
    RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.
  
  Code has been changed to correct this condition.
