PM83743: DSQ90577 AFTER APPLYING MAINTENANCE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After applying JSQAA1Z to upgrade to QMF VUE and UK78568, and
  re-assembled DSQUOPTS with parameter OTC_LICENSE=TERMS_ACCEPTED,
  message DSQ90577 QMF VUE will start only in a zNALC LPAR  is
  generated.

  *                      a zNALC LPAR' when they are running in  *
  *                      a zNALC LPAR.                           *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  QMF was incorrectly detecting the presence of the zNalc
  environmennt.
  

Problem conclusion

• QMF has been corrected to detect bit flag CVTZNALC within
  CVTFLAG4 at offset x'17B' in the CVT to determine if it is
  running under a zNALC environment.
