job deletes INDEX objects built for prior levels of Admin Tool.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS    *
*                      does not provide any guidance to DB2    *
*                      10 users about whether the old indexes  *
*                      created by SAMPLIB member ADBCX that    *
*                      are specific to DB2 R810 and 9 can be   *
*                      deleted.                                *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS does not provide any
guidance to DB2 10 users about whether the old indexes created
by SAMPLIB member ADBCX that are specific to DB2 R810 and 9
can be deleted.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Problem has been resolved. A comment in the job/template
ADBCX10 to inform DB2 10 users that the old indexes created by
SAMPLIB member ADBCX that are specific to DB2 R810 and 9 can
be deleted.
