Error description
Abstract: Attempts to invoke content assist on Dojo statements in a XHTML file in the Rich Page Editor might result in a UI hang. Problem: 1. Create a new Web project, selecting Dojo and Java EE 2. Create an XHTML file that contains some JavaScript (Dojo) statements 3. Select a position inside the JavaScript text, and invoke content assist by pressing CTRL+SPACE Result: Rational Application Developer hangs Local fix: There is no known workaround at this time.

Problem summary
There was unnecessary filtering of JavaScript files that was increasing the time needed to build them.
Problem conclusion
Removed some unneeded filtering that was slowing down the processing of files. The fix for this APAR is included in Rational Application Developer v8.5.5.
