  • A logical unload with an ORDER clause specifying FORMAT INTERNAL
abends after DB2 SORT has terminated with an error reporting
CNK046E  SORT CAPACITY EXCEEDED.
This occurs only if SORTUTIL DB2SORT is specified.

Local fix

  • Consider using another sort program by specifying a different
value for SORTUTIL.
