• DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS does not generate CREATE ALIAS
  statement after DROP ALIAS for MQT during ALTER Tablespace from
  LOGGED to NOT LOGGED and vice versa

  *                 for z/OS who alter the 'LOG' attribute       *
  *                 of a table space which has an alias          *
  *                 and an authorization on a Materialized       *
  *                 Query Table (MQT).                           *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DB2 Administration Tool does not        *
  *                      generate a CREATE ALIAS                 *
  *                      statement after the DROP ALIAS          *
  *                      statement for a MQT when performing     *
  *                      an 'Alter Tablespace ALT' (ALT) to      *
  *                      change the 'LOG' attritube.             *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  A DROP ALIAS statement was generated for the MQT
  when changing the tablespace attribute from LOGGED
  to NOT LOGGED or from NOT LOGGED to LOGGED.
  The ALIAS was dropped but a CREATE ALIAS was not
  generated.
