Error description

  • Client is attempting to use EV 9.5.FP1 against Essbase 11.1.2.1.
Unable to connect to datasources due to an error that the
Essbase API cannot be initialized.  Connection with EV 10.1
fails also error: Unable to connect to the OLAP Server 'server'
using the specified OLAP Administrator Credentials. Additional
Information: Internal IBM Cognos Executive Viewer Server
Error.\r\nAdditional info: ESSAPIN.DLL could not be loaded due
to: The specified module could not be found.\r\nThis error is
most likely caused by the fact that the Essbase Runtime Client
are not installed on your system. Please make sure the latest
version of the Essbase Runtime, for the Essbase server(s) you
are trying to connect to, is installed on your system.
