PM75220: MULTIPLE ISSUES WITH IMS HP SYSGEN

Error description

• This APAR addresses the following problems:
  1. Error message IOH4???E can be issued ( MSGIOH4???E )
  
  2. Attempting to reverse the history log can result in
     message IOHE031 (invalid field value(s) were encountered
     formatting the IOHLOG records - code D).  MSGIOHE031
  
  3. An incorrect transaction edit routine name can be shown in
     ISPF VIEW.
  4. Changing the TRUNC option for a SPA from RTRUNC or STRUNC to
     "not specified" causes the old value to remain.
  5. The ISPF VIEW option fails to show transaction Expry Time in
     a DRD environment.
  
  6. Errors occur in a DRD environment when adding / updating a
     transaction
     - MODE=SNGL/MULT set incorrectly.
     - WFI=YES not being set.
     - FPATH= values not being interpreted correctly which can
       cause resource update list installation errors.
     - PROCLIM TIME value not being set to specified value.

  This APAR is addressing the following issues:
  1.Error message IOH4???E can be issued.
  2.Attempting to reverse the history log can result in an
  IOH031 message (invalid field value(s) were encountered
  formatting the IOHLOG records code D).This may occur using
  HP Sysgen option 8.2.
  3.Incorrect transaction edit routine names can be shown in
  ISPF VIEW.
  4.TRUNC processing is incorrect when applying a "not
  specified" value.
  5.The ISPF VIEW option displays only the first 2 digits of
  transaction SYSIDs.
  6.The VIEW options fails to load the proper IMS release
  dependent version of the RDDS read module.
  7.Attempting to save a new IMSID options module before IMS
  environment information is obtained from the IMS control
  region results in ABEND0C4.
  8.Several options may be set incorrectly when updating a
  transain a DRD environment.
  

Problem conclusion

• The following changes have been made for the above issues:
  1.Correct the invalid message number - to IOH2300E.
  2.Correct an invalid length in an executed MVC instruction.
  3.Change processing of transaction edit routine names to obtain
  them from DFSTRTnt instead of SMB resource extensions.
  4.Update TRUNC processing to correct the value set for a "not
  specified" value.
  5.Update the transaction VIEW display panel to allow 3 digit
  SYSIDs.
  6.Correct the process of loading the release dependent module
  used to process an RDDS data set.
  7.Prevent saving a new IMSID options module unless information
  has been obtained from the IMS control region.
  8.Correct processing involved in setting options for
  transaction definition or update in a DRD environment.
