PM73248: MSG GCLDCU06E DBRC FAILED RC=12 DUE TO DBRC OUTPUT HAS AN ERROR IN THE INIT.PART CONTROL STATEMENT KEYSTRNG IS INVALID

Error description

• A database refresh of a HALDB that does not have a KEYSTRNG
  defined (uses a partition selection exit) fails when IMS Cloning
  Tool is updating the target IMS. The update step fails
  with 'GCLDCU06E DBRC failed, RC=12' and the resulting DBRC
  output shows an error in the INIT.PART control statement.

Local fix

• Add a DBRCOUT DD to the IMSDBREFRESH JCL allocated to a PDS or
  PDSE, RECFM=FB, LRECL=80. After the IMSDBREFRESH job abends,
  manually edit the DBRC control statements written to DBRCOUT
  and remove the KEYSTRNG parameter. Then use the control
  statements in a DBRC utility to update the database definition
  on the target IMS.
