PM71066: WSL EDIT CAUSES LONG STATEMENT TRUNCATION ON SECOND EDIT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Users of DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS who chose to EDIT a
  WSL report that the second use of EDIT line command in panel
  ADB2W1 causes truncation of long statements in the edit session.
  .
  Changing any line while the truncation is present in panel
  ADB2PRED EDIT session permanently loses the truncated portion
  of long statement(s).
  

Local fix

• If truncation is noticed while in panel ADB2PRED, pf3 exit
  before making any changes. PF3 again from panel ADB2W1, and
  restart the edit session.
  The new edit session will contain the original long statement(s)
  text.

  The statements in the WSL are truncated when using the 'EDIT -
  Edit' line command on panel ADB2W1S, and pressing the F3 key
  without making any changes, then using the 'EDIT - Edit' line
  command again on panel ADB2W1S.
