    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    For the problem reported in this APAR, QMF initialization
    had encountered a SQL code -805 (missing data base package)
    error for package DSQGSDB2. QMF did not properly recover from
    that SQL code -805 error and instead of terminating, it
    continued to initialize. Because QMF had errors during
    initialization, it could not execute properly and various error
    symptoms were reported. QMF needs to terminate the
    initialization process when it encounters a SQL code -805 for
    DSQGSDB2 (or any QMF runtime package) and report the error to
    the end user.

Problem conclusion

  • If QMF encounters an SQL code -805 for package DSQGSDB2 during
    initialization, it will terminate and issue the message:
    DSQ10204 'DBRM not found for DSQISDB2 module in xxxx database.
    SQLCODE returned was -805.' QMF administrators will need to run
    QMF1010.SDSQSAPE(DSQ1BPKG) to bind the QMF application packages
    to fix this problem. MSGDSQ10204
