PM70553: VARIOUS USABILITY ISSUES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• This APAR contains the following fixes:
  1. A mismatch was caused if a space is contained in   the value
     attribute of the Syntax Monitor.
  2. Support has been implemented for PART and DSNUM
     attributes for the Index Rule in the Policy.
  3. UET will loop if the first value of the range is greater than
     the second value in the PART attribute of the policy.
  4. All leading nulls before the partition number in the Policy
     rule will be truncated and partition numbers greater than 4
     digits will be skipped.
  5. The index name or creator name is truncated and causes a
     mismatch, if it contains a space.
  6. Running Check Data with extended syntax against a table with
     a space in the name, results in an S0C4 abend.
  7. Incorrect Check Index syntax causes message
     ABPU5356W.
  8. UET does not block objects of RUNSTATS utility with the LIST
     parameter.
  
  9. The Journal attribute of Syntax or Message element does not
     override the specification on the parent Monitor element.
  10. Running Check Data against a table  with a space in its name
      and no parentheses results in message DSNU088I.
  11. Running Check Index or Reorg Index against an Auxiliary
      table with an index results in SQLCODE -100.
  12.The DSNUTILB thread cancel attaches the part keyword to the
     table name, if part was specified in the into table clause of
     the load utility.
  13. Message ABPP9930E A syntax error was detected in the
      field specification, is issued during the LOAD utility.
