Error description
This apar addresses the following problems: 1. New ROUTE command to allow a datastore to be logically suspended and resumed. Requirement MR0326125250 is now met. 2. The CEX print utility CEXDFPRT contains field TSKID=N/A and the Event Key field is incorrect. 3. The ISPF dialog and batch utilities do not support a transaction beginning with a numeric character. INVALID NAME is received. This is a valid transaction code that should be allowed. 4. An ABEND0C4 can occur in CEXRCDPR if the recorder trace record is for Sync callout. The event record 161 has been built with an invalid application data section by CEXRCDUT during the conversion process. 5. An ABEND0C1 can occur if the journal manager abends and CEX shuts down processing. MSGCEX5045I Connect Extensions task, JRNLMGR, has ended before shutdown is seen in CEXPRINT. CEXTECL is the abending module, R15=0 Summary of changes 1. The new ROUTE command will allow a user to logically suspend and resume activity for a datastore. 2. Corrected the print utility to correctly format the TSKID and EVENT KEY fields 3. Corrected the ISPF dialog and batch utilities to allow resource names to begin with a numeric character conforming to the IMS naming rules. 4. Corrected CEXRCDUT to recognize the sync callout message that has a 4 byte application LL instead of the normal 2 byte application LL. 5. Changed CEXTECL to correctly check for journal abend and that the collect TDB is no longer available.

Message CEX5045I Connect Extensions task, JRNLMGR, has ended before shutdown is seen in CEXPRINT. CEXTECL is the abending module, R15=0 6. HWSMSCX0 and HWSOTMX0 exits are automatically defined and loaded based on the HWSSMPL1 definition. MSGCEX5052W will no longer be issued for these exits.
Problem conclusion
The following changes have been made for the above issues: 1.The new ROUTE command will allow a user to logically suspend and resume activity for a datastore. For the AUTORESUME feature to work correctly an IMS Connect APAR is required to correct events 16 and 17. The IMS Connect V11 APAR for this service is PM70277. Until the required IMS Connect Service is installed, message CEX5125I is issued during IMS Connect initialization indicating that the required IMS Connect maintenance to support the AUTORESUME feature is not installed. 2.Corrected the print utility to correctly format the TSKID and EVENT KEY fields 3.Corrected the ISPF dialog and batch utilities to allow resource names to begin with a numeric character confirming to the IMS naming rules. 4.Corrected CEXRCDUT to recognize the sync callout message that has a 4 byte application LL instead of the normal 2 byte application LL. 5.Changed CEXTECL to correctly check for journal abend and that the collect TDB is no longer available.
