    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    To ensure index uniqueness, DB2 needs to acquire logical claim
    on the next rid. The next rid happened to be on a partition that
    had READ ONLY access and failed to get WRITE logical claim.
    A READ logical should have been requested instead of WRITE
    logical claim.

    Additional Key words: SQLCODE904 MSGDSNT501 RC00C90080

Problem conclusion

  • DB2 has been updated to acquire a READ logical claim to ensure
    index uniqueness.
