Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When opening a Microsoft Excel file in a dynamic view context, in some cases the operation would fail with an error that there was not enough available memory or disk space. There were really two problems: an I/O error causing the open to fail, and the fact that this was a misleading error message, the failure was not really related to lack of system resources.
Problem conclusion
This problem is fixed in ClearCase 7.1.2.8 and 8.0.0.4.
