  *                 compare tables.                              *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The DB2 Object Comparison Tool for      *
  *                      z/OS does not generate a DROP of        *
  *                      an extra index on the target table      *
  *                      when the option 'Suppress DROP of       *
  *                      objects' on panel GOC5 'Generate        *
  *                      Compare Jobs' is set to 'NO'.  The      *
  *                      OBJECT COMPARISON REPORT reports        *
  *                      two extra indexes on the target         *
  *                      table, but Compare only reports a       *
  *                      DROP for index schema.table_name2,      *
  *                      not schema.table_name1 which            *
  *                      should be dropped:                      *
  *                                                              *
  *                      Index schema.table_name1 not            *
  *                      found on source                         *
  *                                                              *
  *                      Index schema.table_name2 not            *
  *                      found on source                         *
  *                      Index schema.table_name2 will           *
  *                         be dropped                           *
  *                                                              *
  *                      Also, the APPLY job has a DROP          *
  *                      statement for index schema.table_name2  *
  *                      not schema.table_name1.                 *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  DB2 Object Comparison Tool for z/OS does not generate a DROP
  for the extra index which is partitioned and not an index for
  the primary/unique constraint on the target table when the
  option 'Suppress DROP of objects' on panel GOC5 'Generate
  Compare Jobs' is set to 'NO'.
