APAR status

Error description

  • After Tools Base migration from V1.1 to V1.3, the V1.3 code
specified data length parameter was smaller than the actual data
length, with BSN1506E issued.

All users with migration purpose need to apply this APAR.

The errors was caused by different data area length in PS V1.1 a
nd V1.3. In the FPQ call, the V1.3 code specified data length
parameter was smaller than the actual data length.

Problem conclusion

  • Now amend the control blocks in V1.3 and re-compile all related
modules. In the FPQ call, the data length parameter will be OK.
