Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS' option 'V - Views' on
  panel ADB21D 'DSN Databases' performs poorly.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The 'V-Show views in database' line     *
  *                      command can take a very long time to    *
  *                      display results.                        *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  A DB2 ZPARM, OPTXQB,  is available that does a SQL query
  transformation and if that ZPARM is set, the SQL for the
  'V-Show views in database' line command is transformed to a
  better performing query and results are shown faster than if
  the ZPARM is not set.
  

Problem conclusion

• The SQL queries for the 'V-Show views in database' line command
  for the following panels has been changed to use the SQL that
  DB2 uses when doing the query transformation:  ADB21D
  'Databases', ADB21T 'Tables, Views, and Aliases', ADB21S
  'Table Spaces', and ADB21VV 'Views'.
