  • The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS panel ADB26DT 'Drop Table'
field 'Report Drop Impacts' does not reflect the option set in
panel ADB2P2 'Change DB2 Admin Defaults' field 'Report Drop
Impacts'.

Local fix

  • Amend the value manually on panel ADB26DT'Drop Table'.

The 'Report Drop Impacts . . . NO' value is not used.
This problem would also be seen when dropping a View, Alias,
Index, Function, Procedure, UDTs and Sequence.

Problem conclusion

  • Panel ADB26DT was modified to resolve this issue.
