Error description

  • The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS' panel ADB2USM 'Specify
Utility Options - MODIFY' does not list all of the available
MODIFY utility options when running on a DB2 9 Compatibility
Mode / CM subsystem.

Local fix

  • Add the syntax manually once the utility syntax has been created
 by the product.

Panel ADB2USM should allow for DB2 9 CM to add the missing
MODIFY utility options for the RETAIN parameter (RETAIN LAST
LOGLIMIT GDGLIMIT) .

Problem conclusion

  • Panel ADB2USM was modified to fix this issue.
