PM55471: CHANGES TO AUX PARAMETER ON REORG UTILITY ABEND513

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Automation Tool currently accepts YES or NO as the values for
  the AUX parameter on a Reorg utility profile.
  There are some cases that the product will override the NO
  parameter with YES.  For example, when reorging a
  partition-by-growth tablespace.  This can result in an S513
  abend when using tape stacking for image copies due to the fact
  that the base tablespace and the auxiliary tablespace are copied
  in parallel.
  
  This APAR will change Automation Tool to accept YES, NO, or
  'blank' for the AUX parameter.  A value of YES or NO will always
  be honored as specified by the user.  A 'blank' value will use
  the default for the AUX parameter as described in the DB2
  Utilities Guide.
  
  Also, during the build process, Automation Tool will issue a
  warning message about tape stacking when AUX(YES) is specified
  and LOB objects are encountered.  Tape stacking will be
  turned off for the LOB objects only in this case.
