APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS BIND and REBIND line
  commands panels ADB21PB 'Bind Application Plan' and ADB21PR
  'Rebind Application Plan' truncate the ENABLE field.
  .
  For example a plan bound with ENABLE(CICS BATCH) shows an ENABLE
  field of 'BATCH CI' which results in an error:
  DSNE965E CI IS NOT A VALID ENABLE KEYWORD PARAMETER
  

Local fix

• Edit the BIND/REBIND syntax manually via the PROMPT functions
  edit feature.

Problem conclusion

• Panels ADB21KB 'Bind Package', ADB21KR 'Rebind Package',
  ADB21PB 'Bind Application Plan' and ADB21PR 'Rebind Application
  Plan' were modified to allow for a longer character string in
  the ENABLE and DISABLE fields.
