Error description

  • ABEND S0D, CQM1042E SYSTEM DUMP FAILED FOR CQM#DRVR, ABENDA03,
    INCORROUT
This problem can occur after applying CQM 2.3 APAR PK78911 or
upgrading from CQM 2.3 to CQM 3.1 and running more than one CQM
instance on an LPAR, reusing the CQMMSTR name (Master Address
    Space) previously used.
    RELATED COLLECTOR APRS / PTF
    PM53286 / UK75135 FOR S-Tap R810
    PM53287 / UK75138 FOR AME R210

Local fix

  • 1) STOP all CQM, ADH, and STP collectors on the LPAR
    2) STOP the CQMMSTR (this would be ADHMSTR for the ADH APAR’s)
    3) CHANGE THE MASTER_PROCNAME PARM TO USE A DIFFERENT NAME
OTHER THAN CQMMSTR (For the ADH APAR’s this would say: Specify
a different Master Address Space name on the MASTER_PROCNAME
      parameter in ADHPARMS)
    4) Run the cleanup program, CQM#DLNT, obtained from IBM Support
       - copy it to an APF authorized library
       - only run this program at the direction of IBM Support
    5) Remove CQM#CQMA and CQM#CQMI from the dynamic LPALIST by
       issuing the following z/OS command:
    SETPROG LPA,DELETE,MODNAME=(CQM#CQMA,CQM#CQMI),CURRENT,FORCE=YES

++ Important: Issue the command repeatedly until this
       CSV551I message is seen:
       CSV551I 17.11.02 LPA DELETE 243 SUCCESSFUL:
SUCCESSFUL: 0 UNSUCCESSFUL: 2 NOT PROCESSED: 0 (this
would be ADH#CQMA and ADH#CQMI for ADH)
    6) Start the CQM, ADH, STP collectors.
