Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS users experienced a
  SQLCODE -104 after successfully browsing the results of
  a SELECT COUNT(*) statement build via panel ADB21TSE
  'Build SQL SELECT Prototype' if they use the COUNT function AND
  use the EDIT function to delete the:
    WHERE ?
  ORDER BY ?
  GROUP BY ?
  clauses shown.
  

Local fix

• Do not use the EDIT function to remove the:
    WHERE ?
  ORDER BY ?
  GROUP BY ?
  as the product does not pass them to DB2.
