Error description

  • After applying PM37988 / UK69341:
    1) FPA Unload gets ABENDS0C4 in HFPA3MN0 offset x'1C8' under the
       following conditions:
       - The area that has pointer errors is processed.
       - PTRCHK=DETAIL is specified in HFPSYSIN.
    2) FPA Analyze gets ABENDS0C1 in HFPA3000 offset x'25c' under
       the following conditions:
       - The area that has pointer errors is processed.
       - The number of pointer errors exceeds the number that is
         specified in MAXERROR=.
    3) FPA Analyze detects SDEP pointer errors, though the SDEP
       segment is valid, when SDEP logical end RBA is divisible by
       UOW size.

    After applying PM37988 / UK69341:
    1) FPA Unload gets ABENDS0C4 in HFPA3MN0 offset x'1C8' under the
       following conditions:
       - The area that has pointer errors is processed.
       - PTRCHK=DETAIL is specified in HFPSYSIN.
    2) FPA Analyze gets ABENDS0C1 in HFPA3000 offset x'25C' or
       ABEND0C4 in HFPA3BT0 offset x'5C4' under the following
       conditions:
       - The area that has pointer errors is processed.
       - The number of pointer errors exceeds the number that is
         specified in MAXERROR=.
    3) FPA Analyze detects SDEP pointer errors, though the SDEP
       segment is valid, under the following conditions:
       - SDEP logical end RBA is divisible by UOW size.
       - SDEP part is wrapped.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The module HFPA1P10 has been modified to calculate the size of
    the internal table correctly.
    The module HFPVBRD0 has been modified to calculate the reading
    range correctly.
