Error description

• ABEND U4036 with /EXIT command for ending of the
  conversational transaction.
  This error occurs only under LE.

Problem summary

  ABENDU4036 occurred when the conversational transaction was
  ended by /EXIT command under the following environment:
  z/OS V1.6, LE, IMS V9.1, BTS V3.1.
  The PL/I program was compiled with OS PL/I V2.3. And it was
  linked with the OS PL/I V2.3 link library PLIBASE rather than
  SCEELKED.
  Under those specific conditions, the return address in the save
  area of BTS was modified, the broken save area caused the abend.
  

Problem conclusion

• BTS is modified to restore the broken save area after /EXIT
  command is issued.
