Error description

  • When NTH collector cannot find the DB2 specified the message
KO2O907W is issued and task is terminated with the user abend
and dump produced :

KO2O0907W OMEGAMON XE FOR DB2 PE TERMINATING BECAUSE DB2 NOT YET
INITIALIZED
IEA794I SVC DUMP HAS CAPTURED:
                 DUMP TITLE=OMEGAMON II FOR DB2:
COMPID=5655W3700, LMOD=KO2HWLMB#L, CSECT=O2HWLM, OFFSET=0021B4

The task should abnormally terminate without the dump. The
KO2O907W message contains the appropriate information.

Local fix

  • Ignore the dump produced, the user abend is in accordance with
product design and is not harmful.
