PM45115: ALT ADDING A COLUMN TO CCSID UNICODE TABLE RESULTS IN "FOR SBCS DATA" RATHER THAN "FOR MIXED DATA"

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS ALT function built DDL
  which contained "FOR SBCS DATA" instead of "FOR MIXED DATA" when
  attempting to add a column to a table defined in a tablespace
  defined as CCSID UNICODE.
  

Local fix

• Manually correct the DDL created via the PROMPT function or
  chose to have the output sent to a WSL and edit the WSL before
  execution.
