PM43140: ORF AFTER A PREVIOUS ABEND IN THIS CASE ABENDB37

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• REORGI flag left on after abend in ORF. ORF abended during the
  utility process, (in our case ABENDB37 on ILDS temp files). The
  cleanup process failed with ABEND0C4, leaving the REORGI flag
  on. This prevented any batch jobs from getting authorization
  to the database.

  (in our case B37 on ILDS temp files).  The
  cleanup process failed with 0C4, leaving the
  REORGI flag on.  This prevented any batch to
  get authorization.
  

Problem conclusion

• The error happens when reorging a HALDB.
  Since we are on a temporary RECON at the time
  of the failure, we need to get back to the
  original RECON.  That process failed causing
  the 0C4.
