Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS based APPLY job fails
  with a message:
  ADB5146E Unexpected SQLCODE in :SELECT SYSTABLEPART DEF2
  DSNT408I SQLCODE = -304, ERROR:  A VALUE WITH DATA TYPE INTEGER
  CANNOT BE ASSIGNED TO A HOST VARIABLE BECAUSE THE VALUE IS NOT
  WITHIN THE RANGE OF THE HOST VARIABLE IN POSITION 1 WITH DATA
  TYPE SMALLINT
  DSNT418I SQLSTATE   = 22003 SQLSTATE RETURN CODE
  DSNT415I SQLERRP    = DSNXROHB SQL PROCEDURE DETECTING ERROR
  when the SYSIBM.SYSTABLEPART.SPACE column contains a value
  greater than 32768.

  The ADBTEP2 logic has now changed to handle much larger values
  to be returned in this column to avoid this error.
  

Problem conclusion

• Problem has been resolved.  Existing Work Statement Lists
  ( WSL ) will not be affected.
