APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS' ALT function displays
  panel ADB21XA "Redefine Index - Space" with input fields for
  each of the partitions of a PARTITIONED index.
  
  Customer entered 999 for PART 75 however the PRIQTY/SECQTY were
  rounded to 1000 and applied to the entire object.

  partitions and table space partitions if the values were updated
  at the same time as the parts were added.
  

Problem conclusion

• A new part inherits attribute values from the last existing
  part. Panels ADB21SAR Redefine Table Space' and ADB21XAS
  'Redefine Index' have been updated to display the attribute
  values for new parts. If an attribute is altered the new
  value will be preserved.
