Error description

• DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS MIG ( migrate ) works ok at
  table level, but fails on DB or TS level, but only for some
  objects.
  .
  Failure occurs only when DB2 catalog contains blanks which are
  probably present on DB2 objects created on a prior DB2 release.
  Reported case found trailing blanks in DBNAME from SYSTABLES .
  .
  Admin skeleton adb28hpu builds failing S1 job using FULLTSNM
  variable which fails when trailing blanks are encountered.
  Problem resolved by updating REXX routine ADB28SUB .

  *                      the S1 job receives an error message:   *

  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The internal ISPF table shows trailing spaces after the DBNAME.
  Further analysis indicates that the spaces are not a result of
  the DB2 Admin Tool.  They are coming from the DB2 Catalog,
  most likely due to a DB2 migration (not MIG).
  

Problem conclusion

• Problem has been resolved.
