Error description

• Each time the user enters the Edit -> Options menus and the
  Syntax Editor tab to make changes to the settings for Syntax
  color coding, they find that their prior settings for quoted
  text has returned to the default.  The settings made here
  persist only as long as it takes to click "Apply".  The settings
  then apply to the Syntax Editor, but the menus return to the
  default values the next time the user invokes the menus.
