PM32754: ABEND0C2 IEAVBWTO DURING IMS SHUTDOWN

Error description

• ABENDS0C2 IEAVBWTO occurs in a very, very small timing window
  when all the regions (QCF servers, IMS CTL and dependent
  regions, SCI) are all shutdown at the same time.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Improve deregistration process. On IMS  *
  *                      shutdown, message, that IMS has         *
  *                      disconnected from SCI, is  sent back to *
  *                      the control region - to the event's     *
  *                      exit program.The event's exit           *
  *                      program should be active to accept the  *
  *                      message - and send it to the console.   *
  *                      The message's and event's exit programs *
  *                      are loaded under both - CTL and CTX     *
  *                      TCB, the program that issue the WTO is  *
  *                      loaded only under the CTL TCB- in some  *
  *                      cases it becomes disabled and the abend *
  *                      occures while performing the WTO.       *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The program that issues WTO is loaded under both TCBs, that can
  register /deregister with SCI - the CTL and the CTX TCB.
  

Problem conclusion

• Install the APAR to have all programs, involved in SCI messages
  processing, be active under both TCBs.
