Error description

  • During PWH initialization an SQLCODE -311 is received due to one
    integrated rule-of-thumb (ROT) that is not created at run time.
    .
    If customer had a previous version of PWH, existing run time
    environments must be upgraded via ICAT before they can be used
    in the new version.
    .
    PWH requires special manual migration steps outline in the
    Customization and Configuration guide.

    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    Occurrence of SQLCODE -311 on an insert into DB2PM.ROT_ROT
    table during Performance Warehouse database creation or
    migration process. Neither joblog nor SYPRINT datasets of
    OMEGAMON collector started task show this SQL error code.
    It can be detected in SQL Activity traces and reports or
    by means of use of alternative monitoring tools like DB2
    Query Monitor or Platinum Detector.
    
    PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
    Code of Performance Warehouse subtask has been
    correspondingly corrected to prevent the failures.
