*                 z/OS who has migrated from DB2 9 to DB2 10   *
*                 Compatible Mode.                             *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When running the ALT table command in   *
*                      DB2 10 Compatible Mode, the DB2 object  *
*                      attributes may be omitted.  The         *
*                      MAXPARTITIONS SPECIFICATION IS MISSING  *
*                      IN THE CREATE TABLESPACE STATEMENT      *
*                      WHEN ALT A TABLE.                       *

An omitted attribute syntax error was caused by the new
function mode flag not being set correctly.
