Error description
In DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS use of option Q to CLONE a WSL ( Work Statement List ) can fail to produce all statements from the original WSL in the CLONE copy, even though the job ends rc0 . . Underlying problems are: 1.WSL displayed as one long statement instead of multiple lines. 2.Clone WSL of the long statement does result in rc=0 with no WSL records cloned. . Additional symptoms noted: SQL stmt not completely parsed Error occurred when parsing the following stmt : . SET CURRENT SQLID='WAJI11DB'; CREATE UNIQUE INDEX WAJI11DB.WAJI12I1 ON WA01PB.CPI_LOG_CPI (CPI_ID ASC) ... . Token number = 6, Token = ;
Local fix
The work-around --------------------- 1.On WSL member list panel ADB2W1 , select the WSL member with line command E. 2.On edit panel ADB2PRED , enter command SAVE. 3.Return back to panel ADB2W1 and select the WSL member with line command S ( SHOW ) and confirm that the WSL displays multiple lines instead of one long statement. 4.Return back to panel ADB2W1 and select the WSL member with line command Q ( CLONE ). CLONE should now work properly.

Problem conclusion
Program has been modified to separate multiple SQL statements on a single line to correct the statement type. Program has been modified to prevent the generation of the 'SET CURRENT SQLID' statement before the CREATE INDEX statement.
