Problem summary

  • Users affected:
Websphere TRansformation Extender pack for Swift users with JVC
with MT940

Problem Description:
JVC fails to parse MT940 when the (optional) Account Servicing
Institution's Reference is NOT  present and Supplementary
Details IS present in Tag 61.  The JVC is failing to parse the
CRLF before Supplementary Details when the Account Servicing
Institution's Reference is not present.  Note: This issues also
affects MT942

Platforms affected:
ALL

Problem conclusion

  • Update MT940.xml to call existing JVC method CheckTag61 to
validate Tag 61 correctly.  Fix also applied to MT942.xml
