Error description
This is caused by a bug of the base cache. The 304 response was cached by the base cache. And browser which haven't render the content will display a blank page. Steps to reproduce 1. Disable basic cache, set connect.businesslogic.defaultcache=false 2. Restart server 3. Clear browser-1 cache 4. Request item from browser-1 5. Enable basic cache, set connect.businesslogic.defaultcache=true 6. Restart server 7. Request item from browser-1 (IMPORTANT DON"T CLEAR CACHE) 8. This should cause a 304 response to be cached in the Basic cache 9. Clear browser-2 cache 10. Request item from browser-2 11. You should get a blank response in browser-2
Local fix
There is a workaround for this issue. Switching to advance cache should work fine. With the fix, 304 response won't be cached any more.
