CODE IS INTRODUCED:
- CURRENCY CODE: XSU
- CURRENCY NAME: SUCRE (UNIT OF ACCOUNT)
- FRACTIONAL DIGIT: NA
- NUMERIC CODE: 994
THE 'SUCRE' SHALL BE ASSIGNED TO THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES:
BOLIVIA, CUBA, ECUADOR, NICARAGUA AND VENEZUELA.

The currency table on the SWIFT network was updated with XSU
on 28 August 2010.
Broadcast S06385 was sent by SWIFT in order to inform their
customers.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • MERVA currency code table is extended for new currency
code XSU (Sucre).
Currency code XSU (Sucre) is effective as from now and assigned
to the following countries:
BOLIVIA, CUBA, ECUADOR, NICARAGUA and VENEZUELA.
