PM22665: ORF JOB HUNG WAITING FOR XCF MESSAGES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A timeout has occured when processing messages using
  XCF.  The reason for the timeout is unknown at this time.
  However, the retry is going forever.  This can be seen
  in the TRACE file having only 26 and 27 messages. The retry
  should have a limit and the job allowed to abend.

Problem conclusion

• A limit has been introduced to stop this after 2 minutes.
  The timeout reason is still under investigation.
