PM19583: DB2 QUERY MONITOR AGENT INSTALL FAILURE MAY OCCUR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If both Query Monitor and DB2 Audit Management Expert monitor a
  common DB2 subsystem Query Monitor may issue the DB2 QUERY
  MONITOR AGENT INSTALL FAILURE FOR nnnn message and
  be unable to monitor the DB2 subsystem.
  
  This can occur when Audit Management Expert and Query Monitor
  are active on one DB2 and Query monitor is also monitoring an
  additional DB2. If the additional DB2 subsystem is deactivated
  after the DB2 subsystem both products share then
  DB2 QUERY MONITOR AGENT INSTALL FAILURE FOR nnnn occurs on the
  additional DB2.
  

Local fix

• Cycle both Query Monitor and Audit Management Expert if they
  monitor a common DB2 susbsystem and either product must be
  recycled.   Stop Audit Management expert before stopping Query
  Monitor.
