PM17549: MISCELLANEOUS ERROR MESSAGE CORRECTIONS, AS WELL AS EXCEPTION PROCESSING FIXES.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• 1. An exception profile containing conditions involving
  Real Time Statistics does not trigger any objects even
     though they meet the criteria.
  
     An example is when DB2 Automation Tool contains an exception
     profile condition such as:
  
      REALTIME ICOPY REAL TIME STAT
      REORG_OR_LOAD
      DAYS_SINCE_LAST EQ
  
     This does not generate a Image Copy (the job is returning
     RC00000006) if a REORG or LOAD has been run after the
     latest Image Copy.
  
  2. HAAB381W message may be unnecessarily generated when building
     IMAGE COPY JCL.  This message is unnecessary as message
     HAAB374W is has already informed the user that
     RECOVERY EXPERT IC will not be processed.
  
  3. Message HAAB381W contains the word "RECOVER" which should be
     "RECOVERY"
  
  4. Entering a floating point number with a large exponent
     ending in 9 on the HAA$EPRU panel causes the exponent
     to be truncated. For example, when a number such as 1.3e+39,
     3e+49, 1.1e+59, etc. Is entered on the HAA$EPRU panel and
     the Exception Profile is saved, the exponent value gets
     truncated to 4, 5, 6, etc. instead of 40, 50, 60 when the
     Exception Profile is later Viewed or Updated.
  
  5. Currently on panel HAA$JOPT, the first line of the panel
     is displayed as follows:
  
         HAA$JOPT  ===>
  
     HAA$JOPT will be moved up one line and the keyword "OPTION"
     will be added so it will now be displayed as follows:
  
         HAA$JOPT
  
         Option  ===>
