PM08721: CLONE'D WSL LOAD STEP FAILS WITH DSNU053I - DSNURWUF - FIELD NOT FOUND DUE TO QUOTES / QUOTED RESERVED WORD ISSUE

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS CLONE WSL function adds
  additional quotes to DB2 reserved words resulting in the
  WSL LOAD step failing with:
  DSNU053I  DSNURWUF FIELD NOT FOUND
  as the referenced quoted column now have additional quotes e.g.:
  "PROGRAM" becomes """PROGRAM""".
  

Local fix

• Edit the cloned WSL to remove the additional quotation marks
  

Problem summary

  *                 a WSL that contains a quoted                 *
  *                 column.                                      *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The quoted column leads to              *
  *                      extra quotes in the cloned              *
  *                      WSL.  This can cause errors             *
  *                      when the cloned WSL is run.             *
  *                                                              *
  *                      One of the errors could be a            *
  *                      LOAD failure.  This is because          *
  *                      the table was created with              *
  *                      extra quotes around the column          *
  *                      but the column reference in             *
  *                      the LOAD control card does not          *
  *                      have the extra quotes.                  *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *

  Column names are not unquoted before being
  written into the symbol table.
