Error description
MSGIQC7003E occurs with high number of messages in the shared message queue. The QCF ISPF panels shows that 'IMS is not responding'. The IQC7003E shows up in the QCF server joblog as: IQC7003E - RC=0010 QCF CRITICAL ERROR IN MODULE IQCZRSP0 SRCHZCIB RC=00000000,RSN=NOTFCLNT High number of messages seems to be in the greater than 30000 range.

If the * * queues are large and a single message * * can not be found within 30 seconds, or * * the end of the queues is not reached * * within 30 seconds- the connection is * * timed out. WAITTIME parameter is used * * to set the default 30 seconds to new * * value. WAITTIME is used now to time out * * the TSO client/server connection and * * the also the sever/IMS connection. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Time out interval for server/IMS connection can be modified using the WAITTIME parameter. WAITTIME is the time TSO clients waits on server and IMS to finish the function, WAITTIME is also the time server waits on a single response from IMS - message that satisfies the criteria or end of messages.
Problem conclusion
Install the PTF and recycle server and TSO client.
