* USERS AFFECTED: Users of the DB2 Administration Tool for     *
*                 z/OS who use the 'GEN' line command on a     *
*                 partitioned table space after rotating its   *
*                 first partition to last.                     *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In the DB2 Administration Tool, when    *
*                      using the 'GEN' line command on a       *
*                      partitioned table space after rotating  *
*                      its first partition to last, the        *
*                      partitions from the output are out      *
*                      of order.                               *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
The DB2 Administration Tool will produce partitions out of
order when using the 'GEN' line command on a partitioned table
space after rotate.

Problem conclusion

  • The program has been modified to correct the partition order.
