  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR supports to activate          *
  *                      Integrity Checker in an IMS online      *
  *                      environment that has a BPE-based DBRC   *
  *                      region.                                 *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  This APAR enables Integrity Checker to perform the following
  functions in an IMS online environment that has a BPE-based DBRC
  region in the same way as how it performs in an IMS online
  environment that has a non-BPE based DBRC region:
  
  - Integrity Checker verifies a database during the database
    authorization.
  - Integrity Checker issues some messages and stores them in
    the data set specified to the FABLPRNT DD in addition to
    issuing WTO messages.
  - Integrity Checker puts diagnostic information into the
    data set specified to the FABLSNAP DD when Integrity Checker
    gets a VSAM error.
  
  For the way to activate Integrity Checker in an IMS online
  environment that has a BPE-based DBRC region, see the
  documentation updates of LIU V2R1 User's Guide.
  
  In order to enable the above function, you must also apply APAR
  PK93338 to IMS V11.
