PK98513: IN ICAT SCREEN KD261P7 SUPPORT NTH DATASET PRIMARY SPACE SIZE IN MEGABYTES AND LIMIT TO 2048

APAR status

• Closed as new function.

Error description

• NTH VSAM datasets are only supported up to a size of 2GB.
  However, ICAT currently requests a size in cylinders and cannot
  check this limit. Changing the value to MB will allow an error
  to be displayed if a customer tries to allocate a dataset larger
  then 2048MB (2GB).
  

Local fix

• Customer should check that their allocated size in cylinders
  does not represent more than 2GB.
