Error description

  • In DB2 Recovery Expert for z/OS.
    After cloning data sharing group and decreasing the number of
    members in group, the DISPLAY GROUP command output shows the
    removed member from the original datasharing as quiesced after
    the clone is Complete.
    
    This presents a problem when attempting to perform the Recovery
    Expert DB2 Subsystem Analysis and Setup function. The following
    error message results:
    
      An error has occurred obtaining ZPARM information from
      DB2 Subsystem.
      Make sure all data sharing members are defined in "Setup"
      section.
    
    The provided fix will bypass any SSIDs that are not valid names
    that come back from our display group or coupling facility
    queries.
