Error description

  • The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS panel ADB21CUR "Update
Runstats Information" shows a truncated hex representation of
the value for the HIGH2KEY and LOW2KEY columns for TIMESTAMP
columns.

Local fix

  • Use the BR line command to see the actual value returned from
the DB2 Catalog.

HIGH2KEY, LOW2KEY are truncated.

Problem conclusion

  • Panel ADB21CUR has been expanded to display 18 characters for
HIGH2KEY, LOW2KEY. The HIGH2KEY and LOW2KEY fields are now
scrollable. APAR PK94645 is opened to address the re-formatting
issue upon return from the  BR command (browse) found in house.
